The use of our site is possible without providing personal data. For the use of individual services of our site, different rules may apply, which in this case are explained separately below. Data are personal if they can be clearly assigned to a specific natural person. The following regulations inform you about the type, scope and purpose of the collection, use and processing of personal data by the provider.

Personal data

Definition of "personal data"
According to the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), personal data is individual information about the personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. In other words, it is information that makes some kind of statement about a person, e.g. name, occupation, age, etc.

Your personal data (e.g. name, address, e-mail, telephone number, etc.) will only be processed by us in accordance with the provisions of German data protection law.

This does not apply, however, to sufficiently anonymized data that can no longer be assigned to a specific person without further ado, for example, statistics on user behavior (such as anonymized IP addresses).

Type of data collection

We only receive data relating to you as a person, such as your name, telephone number or e-mail address, if you expressly provide us with this data - for example, because you send us an e-mail or register for one of our services.

We store this data for as long as it is necessary for the corresponding service/response to your e-mail, after which it is deleted. We will of course treat your personal data confidentially and will not pass it on to third parties under any circumstances. You can request information about your data at any time (more in the section "Right to information").

In our services, only those personal data are requested that are necessary for the respective service. In individual cases, an additional declaration of consent is requested from you voluntarily.

It is your free decision whether you enter this data. We store your data on specially protected servers. Access to it is only possible for specially authorized persons who are involved in the technical or editorial support of the servers.

We use your personal data exclusively for processing your specific inquiry or service. Processing for other purposes does not take place. In particular, your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b DSGVO.

Security/storage of data

SSL encryption
To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.

Nevertheless, we would like to point out at this point that complete security cannot be guaranteed in the case of electronic communication.

In the event of faulty data transmission or unauthorized access by any third parties, the provider can neither assume responsibility nor liability. Unless otherwise stated, the data storage and processing takes place without exception on servers in Germany.

Server data

For technical reasons, the following data, among other things, that your Internet browser transmits to us or to our web space provider is recorded (so-called server log files):

  • Your IP address
the website from which you visit us (referrer)
  • the websites you visit with us
  • Date and time and
  • the duration of the visit
  • http status code
  • Amount of data sent
  • Browser type
  • Browser settings
  • Operating system,

This data is used by us exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the proper operation of our website and is automatically deleted after 60 days.

All data in the log files are without direct reference to personal data and are in no way merged with other personal data. We register your accesses for reasons of data security, to ensure the stability and operational reliability of our systems and to ward off unauthorized attacks. The log data is thus used exclusively for internal purposes and will not be passed on to third parties under any circumstances.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO. The processing is based on our legitimate interest of evaluating the traffic on our website to enhance your user experience and for the general optimization of the website.

Contact form and contact by e-mail

On our website, we offer you the opportunity to contact us by e-mail and/or via a contact form. In this case, the information provided by the user will be stored for the purpose of processing his contact. The data will not be passed on to third parties. A comparison of the data collected in this way with data that may be collected by other components of our site also does not take place.

The legal basis for the processing of the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 (1) f DSGVO and, if applicable, Art. 6 (1) b DSGVO, if your request is aimed at concluding a contract. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your request, provided that there are no legal obligations to retain data.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies, which are stored by the browser on your device and which contain certain settings for the use of the website (e.g. for the current session). Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted after closing the browser. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them or the storage period expires. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

In part, the cookies serve to simplify website processes by storing settings (e.g. providing already selected options). If personal data is also processed by individual cookies implemented by us, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) b DSGVO either for the performance of the contract or in accordance with Art. 6 (1) f DSGVO to protect our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the site visit.

You can set your browser so that cookies are generally rejected or that you have to confirm the acceptance of cookies each time. If you decide against cookies in general, you may not be able to use certain functions on the website. The help function in the menu bar of most web browsers explains how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how your browser can notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable all cookies received. You can also find more detailed information on this below.

In addition to the cookies already mentioned, which are used in analysis services (so-called "web tracking"), we also use cookies of the following classifications on our websites, such as:

Persistent cookies:
This type of cookie remains permanently in place (even after the browser is closed) and stores access codes, for example.
Third-party cookies:

Data sharing and recipients

A transfer of your personal data to third parties does not take place, unless

if we have explicitly referred to this in the description of the respective data processing.
if you have given your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. a DSGVO,
the disclosure in accordance with Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in the non-disclosure of your data,
in the event that a legal obligation exists for the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. c DSGVO and
insofar as this is necessary pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the processing of contractual relationships with you.

We also use external service providers for the processing of our services, which we have carefully selected and commissioned in writing. They are bound by our instructions and are regularly monitored by us. If necessary, we have concluded order processing contracts with them in accordance with Art. 28 DSGVO. These are service providers for web hosting, sending emails and maintenance and care of our IT systems, etc. The service providers will not share this data with third parties.

Duration of the storage of personal data

The duration of the storage of personal data is measured by the relevant statutory retention periods (e.g. from commercial law and tax law). After expiry of the respective period, the corresponding data is routinely deleted. If data is required for the fulfillment or initiation of a contract or if we have a legitimate interest in continuing to store it, the data will be deleted when it is no longer required for these purposes or you have exercised your right of revocation or objection.

The right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 DSGVO, insofar as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you object to its erasure and we no longer need the data, but you need it for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims or you have objected to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 DSGVO
